Hello Picnickers!

The 2023 season cannot pass without another outdoor all-day Piknik. We are not preparing just any kind of party for you, because in cooperation with the SZIGET Festival, we are moving into the heart of the city surrounded by trees, the Városliget, on Saturday, August 12. Come and discover the beautiful green area of Budapest at the Piknik held during the Sziget Festival, where you can dance to tech-house music, have a picnic accompanied by cold cocktails and taste street food.

What can you expect?

The dome stage will be decorated with jungle visuals, which will be complemented by a VIP section with a separate toilet and drinks counter. We invited an exciting foreign performer, Nick Curly to the event, who will support the House Piknik resident DJs. We pay special attention to admission and the appropriate counter system to minimize queuing.

Venue

Városliget is a unique urban park with a 200-year-old tradition, including museums and exhibition spaces, a zoo, a bathing complex, an ice rink, a circus and a wide range of recreational facilities. Thanks to the Liget Project, park and it’s institutions is being renovated in a way that respects traditions and meets 21st century standards, whether it is the reconstruction of the imposing, almost 120-year-old Museum of Fine Arts, or the construction of new buildings such as the multiple award winner House of Music Hungary designed by the Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto, opened in early 2022, or the impressive new Museum of Ethnography also opened in 2022, or the New National Gallery.
