Camp on the Island! Enjoy free basic camping at Sziget with your Full Festival Pass, 3-Day Pass, or Day Tickets (for at least two consecutive days). Choose from a pre-pitched tent for 2 or 4 people, a convenient pick-up tent, or bring your own one. Set up camp anywhere you like – except at program venues or in designated upgrade camping areas.
Before choosing your spot, check out the map, where we’ve highlighted the best areas for you, including the shadiest.
There’s a large community shower located in the Basic Camping zone, and an ALDI to grab your daily groceries.
Getting the best spot is easy-peasy. Arrive early! Pitch your tent a prior the official start with a special Moving-in ticket.
Please note that the pre-installed accommodation is non-movable and available on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend that if you want to stay with your friends, you settle in together!

Bringing your own tent?
Experience ultimate freedom at Basic Camping by bringing your tent! Enjoy the flexibility to camp your way – making the most of every festival moment. A Leave-no-tent behind deposit ticket is mandatory to buy in this case, but on your way back home, if you take your tent with you (or at least drop it to one of our Green Sziget Points) & redeem the ticket voucher we’ll give the amount back. Let’s work together to leave our campgrounds beautiful and green!

Station wagons with folded-down back seats or microbuses with laid-down mattresses are not accepted. Pulling vehicle has to park in a similar area you booked for your vehicle.
- Tent extensions of the caravans are allowed (on the area you booked next to your Camping ticket), but separate tents cannot be built in the Caravan Camping
