Got an idea to tackle a social or environmental issue? Want to take action and share your solution with thousands of open-minded people?

Sziget Changemakers is your chance. We’re selecting young changemakers (ages 18–30) from across Europe to develop and present bold ideas that improve the world.

Your mission? Create a small but powerful exhibition — and show it live at Sziget.

This is for you if...

You’re 18–30, living in Europe

You care about climate, equality, mental health, or social justice

You’ve got an idea — and the drive to make it real

You want to build it with a small team (up to 5 people) and show it at Sziget Festival

We’ll provide you:

A 5-day pass to Sziget Festival 2026

Accommodation with breakfast

€450 financial support for setting up your showroom

Mentoring from sustainability experts

And when you’re done — enjoy the festival!

This Is What You’ll Create

The application consists of two main parts: “The Problem” and “The Presentation”:

The Problem

Tell us what issue you want to tackle.

Is it climate, inequality, mental health, discrimination, or something else?

What’s the local challenge — and why does it matter?

The Presentation

Show us your idea in action!

You’ll design a small, creative “showroom” at Sziget to bring your solution to life.

Think images, objects, prototypes, stories, installations — whatever fits your vision.

We’ll support you with €450 and everything you need to build it.

Check the criteria: Make sure you’re between 18–30, based in Europe, and applying with a team of max 5 people.

Prepare your application: Outline your idea, the problem it solves, and how you’ll present it creatively at the festival.

Submit your form by May 28 (18:00 CET): You can find the application form at the bottom of this page.

Jury selection (June 12): Our jury will review all entries and select the most promising and creative teams.

Prep with us: If selected, you’ll join online prep sessions in July to get ready for Sziget.

Present your idea at Sziget (August 11-15): Bring your project to life on The Island of Freedom — and share it with thousands.
