ArtGarden – in collaboration with Medence Designlab – is an organic unit of design and art activities.
The interactive installations, fine art and acoustic workshops and programs here offer cultural experiences that make you think – be a part of the shaping of art.
In this cultural oasis, you can encounter different branches of art, actively participate in interactive programs and workshops.

The Sziget Festival and the Medence Group have been collaborating with the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design since their inception.
In 2006, MOME students made sunshades for the festival in a workshop. One of the iconic pieces of the final product was an awning with the inscription RE installed over a sandbox.
On the 20th anniversary of the event, MOME students are once again designing and constructing a sunshade over a sandbox.
