The jubilee “Before I Die 2026” is created by Candy Chang, an internationally renowned American designer-artist. Through her work, she strives to transform individual thoughts into a collective community force. One of her most famous street art projects, which has grown to a global scale, is the “Before I Die” wall. The primary mission of this initiative is to foster community engagement. The goal is to break through the barriers of individual isolation. The wall creates an opportunity for people to share their desires, hopes, fears, and stories with one another. This interactive, open art project welcomes visitors every day between 12:00 and 22:00, whether they wish to share their own thoughts or search for new ones. Throughout the week, the Sziget community can build this endless bucket list with their ideas. This year, the nighttime illumination features new elements; the lights surrounding the wall symbolize the constructive power of shared thoughts. Over the years, the “Before I Die” wall has traveled the entire globe, and this year, it arrives at the festival for the 12th time as a joint project between Sziget and Banner Casting.
