Take a taxi
You can take a taxi from the airport — official Főtaxi stands are located right at the entrances of both Terminal 2A and 2B. The ride to Sziget Festival takes approximately 45 minutes.
If you want to arrive from your hotel/appartement, you can easily order a cab through our official sponsors BOLT Taxi or Főtaxi. You can arrive to the taxi stands of both providers at the K Bridge, and the Bolt will also take you to the H Bridge entrance. We highly advise you to use our partner cab providers to avoid any inconvenience.
Budapest taxis have standardised signage: the cars are yellow with the words “qualified Budapest taxi/minősített budapesti taxi” on the left-side of the front door, the number plates are yellow, and the dashboard and the two rear doors display a table of fixed official taxi fares:
- Base fare is 1100 HUF ~ € 2,75
- Distance-based fare unit: 440 HUF/km ~ € 1,1/km
If you’re heading home, look for our main taxi drop-off point near the entrance, at the K-bridge. Remember, you can always count on our drivers!
