Don’t forget your Leave-no-tent behind deposit ticket — it’s mandatory and will be checked by our staff at the entrance.
When it’s time to head home, simply take your tent with you, or drop it off at one of our Green Sziget Points.
Show your deposit voucher there and get your money back — or, if you’re feeling generous, donate your tent to charity!

Every year, abandoned tents left behind after the festival create around 7,000 kg of plastic waste on the Island.

Most tents are made from non-recyclable materials, and when burned, they release harmful substances into the atmosphere.

One single tent equals roughly 8,750 plastic straws in waste!

Thanks to caring Szitizens, 356 tents were collected and donated to charities last year — but gathering the rest still takes a lot of time and energy.
📅 Ticket Information
It is mandatory to have a deposit ticket to bring your own tent to Sziget. After purchase, you’ll receive vouchers by e-mail, which must be presented at the Festival Entrance to bring your tent inside the area. The deposit can only be purchased through our official webshop. Please make sure to use a credit card that remains valid for at least two months after the Festival. If your bank card has expired, the refund process may take more than 30 working days after we start the refund process.
To receive your deposit back, please bring your tent to one of the Green Sziget Points or to the Hungarian Charity Service, and redeem your deposit voucher again.
The deposit will be processed to your bank account (linked to the card, iDeal, Revolut Pay, Google Pay, or Apple Pay used for your purchase) as a refund transaction within 30 days after the Festival.
If your voucher is not validated at the Festival Entrance, the deposit will still be automatically refunded to your bank account within 30 days after the event.
Please note: the deposit cannot be refunded in cash or by bank transfer.
