What does volunteering mean?

• As a Sziget Festival volunteer, you will assist in various areas of the event for an average of 6 hours per day, taking on one of the many available roles.
• Participation in the program requires a deposit, which will be refunded after your last shift, provided that everything went smoothly during your volunteer work.
• Your work will be supported by mentors and volunteer coordinators, whom you can turn to at any time.
• There is no payment for volunteering, but in return you can freely participate in the festival’s concerts and programs during the entire duration of the festival (excluding volunteer shifts)!

How Can You Become a Volunteer?

If you’d like to apply to be a Sziget Volunteer, just follow these steps!

1. Register at https://fesztivalonkentes.hu/en/ and create your personal profile.
2. Apply for the Sziget Festival volunteer program under the “Events” tab on the website.
3. Sign up for a suitable online interview time and participate in it!
4. If selected, you’ll receive a contract via email, which you’ll need to accept in your profile.
5. We’ll get in touch with you and send all the important details before the festival!
6. Now all that’s left is to count down the days until Sziget Festival begins!❤️

What is the Festival Volunteer Center?

The Festival Volunteer Center has been organizing volunteer programs for Hungary’s biggest festivals and concerts for over 13 years. We are proud to have experienced 12 Sziget Festivals together and to have worked with over 8,000 enthusiastic volunteers over the years.
